Bergen Group Dreggen was established in 1987 by six engineers from former Munck
Offshore. Going from next to zero turnover in 1987 to about Nok 250 million in
2009 has been a major leap and we have learned a lot over the years.
We are now counting 65 permanent employees from 15 different countries and we
are sending our cranes to all parts of the world. We manufacture our cranes in
Bergen but are also using production facilities in Poland, Lithuania, Korea and
China based on Bergen Group DREGGEN’s design and components.
Products
Our main products are slewing cranes for the marine industry and rail travelling
cranes for the offshore industry. The lifting capacities of the cranes range from
500 – 400.000 kgs and all parts are designed and manufactured according to our
customer’s needs and requirements.
To the offshore industry we deliver; hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, pneumatic
and electric operated BOP handling cranes, X-mas tree handling cranes and deck
cranes for use in explosive area of the installation.
To the marine industry we deliver; Engine room cranes, provision handling cranes,
monorail provision handling cranes, service cranes and hose handling cranes.
Facilities
We have approx 3000 m2 of offices, workshop and warehouse outside centre of Bergen with suitable crane
capacity, adjacent deep water quay and a test base for slewing cranes.
