Hans Petter Eikeland
Chairman of the Board
Hans Petter Eikeland (1959) was elected Chairman of the Board at an Extraordinary General Meeting on 8 November 2017. Eikeland was CEO of Bergen Group ASA from August 2015 and up until the election as Chairman. He also has an extensive experience from other leadership positions within offshore related business, and has been CEO in Ability Drilling ASA, Rig Manager and VP Operations in Odfjell Drilling and Rig Manager in Smedvig Drilling. As an investor and entrepreneur, he has extensive experience in restructuring the development of industrial companies, including as one of the founders of the listed company AGR, and as 50% owner of Safeguard Group which during just a few years multiplied the turnover before the company last year were purchased by the international group Assa Abloy. Eikeland resides with family in Bergen. As per 22 January 2018 Hans Petter Eikeland holds 5,823,024 shares in Bergen Group ASA through Eikeland Holding AS.
Espen Selvikvåg Berge
Espen Selvikvåg Berge was re-elected board member for a 2-year period at the AGM 8 June 2017, He has also been the chairman of the Audit Committee in Bergen Group since June 2015. Berge has over 15 years’ experience from the capital markets and the financial advisory industry. His previous experience includes various positions at Ernst & Young and First Securities / Swedbank. Until autumn 2016 Berge was CFO of Køhlergruppen AS. Berge holds an MA in Finance and Investments from the University of Exeter and is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute. He is a Norwegian citizen, and resides in the Stavanger-area.
Tove Ormevik has been board member in Bergen Group ASA since June 2014. She has an extensive experience from various leading positions within the offshore industry. Currently she works for Aker BP as Offshore Installation Manager at Skarv FPSO. Mrs. Ormevik previous experience includes positions as Platform Manager and as Sector Manager for Subsea Technology and Operations in Statoil, as well as Project Manager at Odfjell Drilling. Tove Ormevik has been involved in NCE Subsea since 2006, the 3 last years as Chairman of the board. She holds a Master of Science in Marine Technology from NTNU. She is a Norwegian citizen and resides at Sotra outside Bergen. As per 22 January 2018 Tove Ormevik owns 22,000 shares in Bergen Group ASA.
Bente Stangeland was elected board member in Bergen Group ASA in September 2015, after beeing alternate board director since January 2015. Bente Stangeland has been member of the Audit Committee of Bergen Group ASA since June 2015. In 2014 she joined AS Flyfisk as the Managing Director where she is responsible developing the overall investment strategy and monitoring existing investments. Prior to this she was over 10 years in chartering working for international oil and chemical ship owners in the United States and Norway. Stangeland holds a Bachelor of Business and Administration from Pacific Lutheran University, Washington as well as a Master of Science in Administrative Studies with a concentration in Financial Economics from Boston University, Massachusetts. She is a Norwegian citizen residing in Bergen. Bente Stangeland is a minoryty owner (8.33 %) in AS Flyfisk which as per 22 January 2018 has a 23.84 % ownership in Bergen Group ASA.
Tracy Chang was elected board member in Bergen Group ASA in June 2017. She has a central position in Brian Chang Holding Ltd, one of the major share owners in Bergen Group ASA.
Board member, employee elected
Kristoffer Hope has since August 2014 been an elected employee representative to the Board of Directors in Bergen Group ASA. In December 2016 he was re-elected for further two years. Mr. Hope is holding a position as industrial mechanic at Bergen Group Services. He has his education from Bergen Maritime College with studies in industrial mechanic and electro-engineering. Kristoffer Hope is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Bergen.
Board member, employee elected
Jorunn Ingebrigtsen was elected as deputy board member for employee elected Kjersti Amundsen in August 2014. Due to the sale of Hanøytangen 19 May 2015, Mrs. Kjersti Amundsen is no longer an employee in Bergen Group. As from that date she was replaced by Jorunn Ingebrigtsen. Jorunn Ingebrigtsen has been member of the Audit Committee of Bergen Group ASA since June 2015. In December 2016 she was re-elected for further two years. Jorunn Ingebrigtsen has been an employee of Bergen Group since 2008, first in Bergen Group Vest Elektro, and from 2013 as an accountant employee in Bergen Group Services. She is a Norwegian citizen, and resides in Bergen.
