Magnus Stangeland
Chairman of the Board
Stangeland has been a board member and CEO of DOF Industri AS/ Bergen Yards since
1997. Stangeland was one of the founders of the DOF Group in 1981. He was the mayor of Austevoll municipality in Norway in five years. Stangeland was elected to the Norwegian Parliament for a period of 12 years for the Centre Party, and was also the deputy representative in the period 1981-1985. Stangeland has experience from a number of board positions from a wide range of companies and industries. Stangeland is a Norwegian citizen, and resides in Austevoll, Norway.

Brian Chang
Board Member
Chang is the Chairman and CEO of Brian Chang Holdings Ltd. With over 40 year with experience from the shipbuilding industry, he has overseen more than 600 marine construction projects within offshore and shipbuilding. Mr Chang holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the City University iin London. Chang is a citizen of Singapore. He is also the Chairman of Troll Drilling and Services Ltd., Calm Oceans Pte Ltd and TSC Ltd.

Torunn Stangeland
Board member
Stangeland has a degree in both social studies and a master degree in law. She currently holds the position as managing director in Flyfisk AS, an investment company owned by Magnus Stangeland. She has until August 2012 a leave of absence from the Norwegian law firm Thommessen, a company she has been working for since 2008. Mrs. Stangeland has previous been a member of the board of directors in Bergen Group ASA and is currently a board member in Stangeland Investment. Stangeland is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Austevoll, Norway.

Eva von Hirsch
Board member
Von Hirsch has experience from M&A and international affairs and has many years’ of national and international management experience. She has also worked with business development in Scandinavia, Morocco, UK, China, USA, Asia, the Middle East and several African countries. Dr. Eva von Hirsch has board experience from Aker ASA and Kværner ASA, Aker Drilling ASA and is currently a board member in several listed companies. Dr. von Hirsch holds a Ph. D. in Anthropology from Durham University. She is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Bergen, Norway.

Linn Cecilie Moholt
Board member
Moholt has been CEO of Karsten Moholt AS since 2009. Mrs. Moholt has many years of experience from various positions in that company, amongst then as project manager and HSE/HR-manager. She is an electrical engineer from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Mrs. Moholt is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Bergen, Norway.

Denis Riordan
Board member
Denis Riordan is founder and owner of GMC limited, a global engineering company delivering offshore projects with innovative technical and commercial solutions. He has over 35 years of experience in marine construction, and through GMC has led the delivery of major installation projects in the North Sea, Black Sea, GOM, West Africa and CIS. Mr. Riordan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, W.Lafayette, Indiana and is a citizen of the USA.

Oddvar Stangeland
Board member
Stangeland is a chartered engineer from NTNU and has been a board member in Bergen Yards since 1997. He was previously the managing director of DOF ASA from 1985 to 2005. Oddvar Stangeland was elected Deputy Board Member in the ordinary General Meeting, but stepped up as ordinary Board Member in February 2012, replacing Erlend Grimstad. Oddvar Stangeland is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Austevoll, Norway.

Bjørn Erik Klepsvik

Board Member

Klepsvik was elected as board member in June 2012. He has an extensive work experience in Kværner since 1970 and later in the Aker group. Mr. Klepsvik has intentional experience from Asia, England and Germany trough different engagements. He has worked within the oil & gas industry since 1977 and from 1994 with subsea solutions. Bjørn Erik Klepsvik is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Austevoll, Norway.

Arne Vindenes
Board member, employee elected
Vindenes started as an apprentice at Mjellem and Karlsen Shipyard in 1974 (now known as Bergen Group BMV), and has continued as certified steel worker at the yard. He has held several elected union positions in different parts of the yard organization. Since 1978 he has been elected as a labor representative for the employees at Bergen Group BMV. He has been an employee’s elected board member of the Bergen Group ASA since July 2009. Vindenes is a Norwegian citizen.

Ingunn Flytør
Board member, employee elected
Flytør has been Financial Controller at Bergen Group Fosen since July 2008. Before that she has worked as manager in a company providing consulting services within the finance, management and strategy area. She has education in business administration, with supplementary training in management from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen. She has been an employee’s elected board member of the Bergen Group ASA since July 2009. Flytør is a Norwegian citizen.

Ove Iversen
Board member, employee elected
Iversen is educated as industry plumber and has worked at Rosenberg Yard since 1980 (today Bergen Group Rosenberg). Since 1985 he has worked as elected union representative for the yards union workers. Today he also holds the position as representative for all Bergen Groups’ employees. Iversen has various experiences from different positions within the labor union. He has been an employee’s elected board member of the Bergen Group ASA since July 2009. Iversen is a Norwegian citizen.
